A rally to mark International Human Rights Day was to be held on December 8, but was postponed a day when the government asked the rally organizers to change the date. The police said there was a significant security risk posed if the rally were to continue on the planned date. The prime minister was to attend the rally. Pray that the government will be committed to addressing issues of human rights in Malaysia this year. In particular, pray that the rights of Christians, and those who choose to convert to Christianity will be upheld (The Bible, Psalm 5:11).
