While many tribal and Chinese Malaysians have become Christians, the Malay Muslims remain difficult to reach. It is illegal for Malays to convert to Christianity. Marriages between Malays and Christians are not legally recognized. Discrimination towards Malay Christians can be tangible in the work place, community and legal courts. One Christian ministry is supporting a safe house for Malay Christians who need to flee persecution for a time.

Pray for these Christians to be encouraged in their faith.
Pray that God will open up doors for them to be reconciled with family members.
Ask God to provide for their needs (The Bible, 2 Corinthians 9:8).
