Pray for North Korea - facebook page

The most repressive nation on earth for the past 15 years, news of historic meetings between North Korea, South Korea and USA leaders have dominated the last year, prompting hope for changes to come. North Korea spends money on missiles of varying capabilities available to be sold to repressive nations and terrorist groups. Meanwhile, the nation starves. Hundreds of thousands of prisoners are held in concentration camps. Experts estimate up to 70,000 of them are Christian Believers. The regime enforces a religion that worships its leader. Christians face death if found meeting together, even saying the name “Jesus” or possessing a Bible. Believers remain underground, but may number as many as 100,000.

Praise Report
Praise God for the ministries who broadcast Christian messages of hope and encouragement into North Korea. Pray that many will tune in (The Bible, 1 Peter 1:3).

Prayer Requests
Pray that the historic meetings between North Korean, South Korean and US leaders will continue to move forward and bear fruit in the years to come. (The Bible, Micah 2:13).
Pray for the 50,000 North Korean Christians who are serving sentences in prisons and labor camps said to be among the world’s most horrendous conditions (The Bible, Proverbs 30:5).

Call to Salvation
We know that Jesus is the only hope. Pray that many will hear about Jesus as their only hope and be saved (The Bible, Psalm 33:22).
