The Israeli army has almost completed work on a 200-metre long barrier of boulders and concrete on the boundary with the Gaza Strip. Israel claimed that it would prevent Hamas fighters from infiltrating Israel by sea. The barrier consists of an above ground fence and a combination of an underwater concrete walls and sensor systems, filling a gap in the shallow area of the waters where Israeli naval boats cannot operate. Israel has also been working on a new underground wall along Gaza's perimeter, which it says is designed to prevent Hamas building and using cross-border attack tunnels. Pray that the sea barrier will curtail infiltration and conflict. Pray that the people will know the God of all creation and the oceans (The Bible, Habakkuk 3:15).
