Pray for Mali - Facebook Page

With tribal tensions -- Tuareg separatists and jihadist fighters from the marginalized Fulani -- Mali struggles to keep peace. Radical Islam also threatens stability. In June 2015, the Malian government and northern armed groups signed an internationally-mediated peace accord. The government has failed to make progress on this peace accord and tensions have remained. This year violence has escalated once more. Those in the central regions are also struggling with food insecurity. Although a secular state with religious freedom, Islamization severely hampers opportunities to reach Malians. The northern regions are home to at least three known Islamic terror groups and are nearly impossible for the government and security forces to police.

Praise Report
Praise God that in the relative peace of the southern regions it has allowed the Church to grow (The Bible, Romans 16:25).

Prayer Requests
Pray for the government to be blessed with supernatural wisdom. Pray for a new generation of godly leaders to be raised up (The Bible, Colossians 3:8-10).
Pray for Christian Malians to increase in their faith as they hold the keys to the spread of the Gospel in this hard-to-reach nation (The Bible, Colossians 4:2-6).

Call to Salvation
Pray that those involved in radical and terrorist groups will receive dreams about Jesus and repent and follow Him (The Bible, Matthew 1:20).
