A government approved Three-Self church in the Henan province had the ten commandments displayed at the front of the church near the pulpit. When government officials came to inspect the church, they ordered that the first commandment, “You shall have no other gods before me,” be removed saying it was now national policy. Last year the Chinese government released a White Paper explaining its new policies to reinterpret Christianity and the Scriptures in a way that was acceptable to the government.

Pray that pastors in China will have courage to keep teaching the whole Bible (The Bible, Acts 20:27).

Tibetan president-in-exile, Lobsang Sangay, says Tibetans are also being held in detention camps like the Uyghurs in northwestern China. Though the camps are not as large, Tibetans are sent there for re-education through labor, imprisonment and detention. He calls the international community to respond. We continue to declare that Jesus loves the Tibetan people and has a plan and purpose for them as a people group.

Pray that there will be many more Tibetans who will be among the crowds of worshippers around Jesus’ throne one day (The Bible, Revelation 5:9-10).
